Anything over large load leaks out of overflow tube. Super load will leak as soon as it starts to agitate.

I have a GE /G102 top load washer. When washing a full load I select the SUPER & DEEP FILL levels but my machine only fills up half way. Why?

you may find that the water sensor is not operating fully take the back off the machine look for a small 5mm pipe at the bottom of the drum that
leads upwards take it off blow gently into it you should hear several clicks and when you release the air if so then the place where you took the pipe from is partially blocked not allowing enough air in to switch to the higher load level clean the pipe out with a pipe cleaner or a small rod replace the pipe and try again eric

The washing maching overflowed. We were just washing a medium load of white clothes. Lucking we were home and cuaght the problem quickly and switch the machine to drain and spin and it went down quickly. I...

Hi, read about your problem. Be sure that clothes are put in washer before the fill. Some people have gone the other way around, and it messes up the water fill switch. Its just a thot . Its a possibility that the water pressure switch is going bad. Before that, empty the tub of all water. Let it sit overnite. Next day, lift lid see if there is any water in bottom. If there is, water valve is leaking. It too would probably need replacing. Until you know which of these or both, is causing the problem, I would not let it run while you are gone. Part numbers;
wh12x10321 pressure switch $19.41
wh13x10024 water valve $25.99.
Hope this helps and thanks.

Sometimes the machine just fills up with water, doesnt spin but continues to fill up and then leaks it out through the bottom, this happens especially when i try to wash with full load

The FRIGIDAIRE washing machine as in all washers have what is called a WATER LEVEL SWITH. This switch is on the top and this is where you select small, medium or large water levels. This water level switch has a clear hose from the top of swith to the side of the out tub. Please check the following:
1- check that the hose is hooked up on both sides and inspect it that it does not have any holes.
2- There could be a small sock or something foreign in between the inner and out drum therefore clogging up this hole.
3- Replace the water-level swith.

Overflow

Check water valve may not be shutting off .
Check water level switch , or hose going to it from tub must be air tight may have pin hole in it.
Water level switch is the one that says small , medium or large on some washers.

Ge top load washer keeps filling with water

most common leak point for washers is the level sensor connector on the lower part of the tank, a small plastic hose.
Not a solution, something to check

Over filling

pressure switch pipe is either blocked or damaged, the weight of the water pushes air up the pipe to activate the switch to stop the water filling, for some reason its not doing so,

this is a small thin pipe that goes from a point in the machine low down, to a little round flat object (normally) up near the top of the machine inside up near the top

drain the machine and clear out the pipe at the bottom where it joins  the drum or whatever, make sure joints are made good
if i have helped please rate me
