Question about Dometic RGE400 Top Freezer Refrigerator
My 1995 Dometic 2611 runs fine during the day when we are up and moving around but quits at night (electric or gas - no difference). I have tried a fan in the control area with un certain result. All fuses are good and voltages seem OK on the power panel. Can't get the cover off the little panel (re-igniter?) that has the trermocouple lead. Do I need a new coil (cooling) unit)?
Yes more than likely the cooling unit is going bad. If your boiler tube is hot the cooling unit is no good. Your frig is 13 years old, it has reached its life span and beyond. A cooling unit or a new frig can be purchased from www.coachtech.info. Just send them an e-mail.
