Lost all channels after factory reset

I have lost all my channels when i did factory reset so i assume i need to reset a few things and don't have any paperwork with the symbol numbers on etc.
My box was saying no signal and when i did power scan I got only a few channels but I didn't get bbc itv etc, infact i only got 21 channels of none use.
is there anyone out there that can help me put all relevant information back in to start my box again, and does anyone know why all the channels went in the first place.

thanks look forward to your help

My viore tv Scans Ruf channels but won't scan digital channels. Power went off it lost all over the air channels

If your Viore TV is unable to scan digital channels after a power outage, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue:
  1. Check the TV's antenna connection: Make sure that the antenna is securely connected to the TV and that there is no damage to the cable.
  2. Rescan for channels: Go to the TV's menu and select "Auto Tuning" or "Channel Scan" to rescan for channels. Make sure to select the option for digital channels only.
  3. Check for software updates: Make sure that your TV has the latest software updates. Go to the TV's menu and check for any available updates.
  4. Perform a factory reset: A factory reset will restore your TV to its original settings. This can sometimes fix issues with channel scanning. Consult the manufacturer's manual for instruction.
  5. Check your TV's location: Make sure that your TV is in a location where it can receive a good signal. Try moving the TV or the antenna to a different location.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that the TV's tuner may be malfunctioning and may need to be repaired or replaced. Contact the manufacturer's customer service or a professional technician for further assistance.

I have a lexuco tv that lost three channels ( SABC 1,SABC 3,E TV ) i've tried almost every settings but they don't seem to be having an effect it has a week being like that, somebody please help me

I have no direct idea but you could try a few things........
I assume you get these via an aerial, the first I know is obvious but are they on air in your area? then I would try feeding the TV via another aerial to see if this brings it back ( aerials and cables can decay and cause many curious effects to notch out signals) so if a second aerial works replace your original system.
The TV may have a skip option to jump/ignore some channels check on this, failing this factory reset or tune again and store. Also with previous point if TV small move to another location (next door or friends house).
Sorry best I can think of other than a service engineer ......

I re-tuned my TV (Samsung) on 03/09/14 as suggested by the pop-up message. i have now lost channels that are not listed as changing - namely Channel 24 (ITV4) and all the HD channels. i have tried the

You need to do a Full Factory Reset tuning rather than just a rescan.

Rescan simply looks at the place holders where the old channels were stored and refreshes them. A Factory Reset (A.K.A. Shipping Condition) wipes the channel memories and starts again fresh.

How to retrieve lost channels on digital tv

To restore missing channels, you need to retune your digital receiver (box or TV).

The retuning process runs a scan and finds all the available channels. Your box may have an Add New Channels option that you can use, but this may not pick up other changes such as channels being moved to a different multiplex or removed altogether.
How to retune
  1. Switch on your digital box and/or TV.
  2. Press Menu on the remote control.
  3. Select the Setup or Installation option.
  4. Select the 'First time installation' option (sometimes called 'Factory reset', 'Full retune' or 'Default settings').
  5. Press OK if your equipment asks if you want to delete all your channels. Don't worry, this is normal.
  6. If you are prompted for a code, try 0000 or 1234.
  7. Channels will be automatically installed. This may take a few minutes and your equipment may shut down and restart.
  8. After retuning, you will have to redo your Favourites list and other settings. If you retune a digital TV recorder, you also should reset future recordings.

To reset most Polaroid TV's, hold the channel up button and the volume up button simultaneously for a few seconds when the set is on. That should reset it to the factory default settings.

normally a factory reset would work other than that have you tried just re-scanning it as that would normally pick up channels that have been lost
