flyer poster seen climbing over into neighbours' back gardens!
3rd world clothing collection seems a great idea, but is this just a front for criminal intent?

You need to phone consumer direct - 08454040506 - that's what I've done about it today as I had the same problem over the weekend.

i have had their leaflet shoved through my door this morning. called trading standards and they are looking in to it.

I got the same 3rd world clothing collection flyer through my door from helpline1000@yahoo.co.uk . It had a company registration 6296698 and the company has been dissolved on the companies house website. I suggest avoiding and giving your clothing to a local charity.

    Name & Registered Office:
    W & W HELP LTD
    14 BARGE HOUSE ROAD
    NORTH WOOLWICH
    LONDON
    E16 2NH
    Company No. 06296698

    Status: Dissolved 24/03/2009
    Date of Incorporation: 28/06/2007

we have had the same leaflet here in skelmersdale lancashire they are due to collect any stuff today 24/4/09

  • cozienook12 Apr 26, 2009

This seems to be a very profitable way of obtaining items- and no taxable out come. Totally untracabeable - i have been informed that these people sell items gained this way on E-BAY .
Today Sunday South Oxhey area Watford has been the target of flyers - no doubt surrounding areas also .
Please Trading Standads do something quickly, genuine collectors ie Grt Ormande Street Hospital - Barnardo's - are missing out - these orginizations seem to be aware when genuine collections flyers are given out, they collect any bags before anyone else has a chace ..Shameful!!!!!

Same issue as many before me, really poorly put together leaflet with numerous basic spelling mistakes which lead me to check the internet for the company registration nuber - 6296698 - only to find we are not alone, and various other areas of the UK have also received similar requests (our leaflet asked for clothing, curtains, towels, handbags, soft toys and pairs of shoes).

  • Anonymous May 13, 2009

just had leaflets from this company also asking for clothing etc

  • super1964 May 15, 2009

I also have had a leaflet posted on Thursday as I bagged a lot of clothes and taped the leaflet to the bag for Friday pick-up suggested on the leaflet itself but nothing or no one collected all day.
I HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS HAS GOT TO BE FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY IN THE NAME OF ( A COLLECTING COMPANY WHICH PROVIDE FOR PEOPLE IN NEED EASTERN AND EUROPEAN COUNTRIES )
This is a scam and if you see this type of activity the report them to your local council office or ask them who delivered the leaflet who they work for.
    DISGRACEFUL ACTIVITY BAD BAD BAD.

I had the same flyer, felt it had the look of eastern european handiwork, searched the web and found the company to be "disolved".

I phoned the local police (not 999!) who put me through to a "non-emergency" service who are getting a patrol to monitor the area on the alledged collection day. They give you an incident number and (if you're able) request to notify them when they (the scam collectors) return.

I am with Yahoo.fr and I want to change to Yahoo.co.uk it won't let me do this as it keeps opening up the french site.

This question is over a year old. But for anyone who has a similar issue now, I would first see if I could create a new Yahoo.co.uk account. You will likely need a new name in front of the @ sign.

After you do that, send an email from your .fr account to all your email friends, asking them to email to your new Yahoo .uk account name. Then after a week or so, contact Yahoo.co.fr and ask them to delete that account.

"I" have not locked anything. Yahoo may have, or it may be that someone stole your account information and locked you out. Try contacting Yahoo for assistance.

Need to transfer contacts from john.burt99@yahoo.co.uk to johnmarshallburt@talktalk.net Have seen Code 59e6af also am logged out of johnmburt@hotmail.co.uk

(For yahoo) Log in to your account, click on "Contacts" and again click "Tools" and select "export" and select what format you want. I am sorry that i don't have much idea about the talktalk.net, but i do hope that there must be possibility to import the contacts as other mail services. More or less similar with the hotmail account, after you are signed in, click "contact list" on the left pane, from the "contacts" page select the contacts you want to export (if you need to select all the contacts email addresses, just tick the check box beside the "name") and click "manage" on the "contact" menu and follow the instructions. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

I urgently need to access my locked yahoo mail at bongiwedlamini2000@yahoo.co.uk It has been locked for more than 24 hours.

if yahoo banned your e-mail addy then you cant unlock it unless you get a hold of yahoo directly. just go to yahoo.com click on the "contact us" link, and you can contact them that way. If you a have just forgotten your password or username, go to the yahoo mail main page, and click the "forogt" password link. and try to access it that way. if you still cant retrieve your password you can contact yahoo again, and they will ask u to provide proof your who you say you are. thell ask u some questions. name, birthdate, hint question stuff like that. just the information u used to create the account.
Good luck

please rate me and leave feed back or recommend me. It is very helpful to me, even if all you do is rate me so it can show me and others how im doing.
