E1 F5 code after self clean cycle. its been 12 hours and wont unlock and still says code

Hi.

E1 and F5 (F5-E1) means that the Self clean latch will not lock. The problem is usually fixed replacing the door latch. If the door latch is working, check wiring to door latch. The control module causing the error is not very common but possible. If the latch and wiring are OK, check control board.

Here troubleshooting from manual:

1. If door latched:

1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
3. Replace door switch.
4. Re-apply power.
5. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.

2. If door not latched:

1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
3. Repeat steps A and B for door switch.

3. Measure door switch (door open = switch open small low voltage terminals). Replace switch if defective.
4. Measure latch switch (unlatch = switch open, CAUTION - oven light contacts are closed). Replace switch if defective.
5. If corrections are made in any step, reconnect power to control. Press and hold any key for 1 minute to clear R failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
6. If failure remains, disconnect power and replace control.

We had a power outlage last night and this morning my oven display says F5E1 and "door locked" - unable to clear either. Any advice?

HI. This is a self cleaning latch error code. Follow the procedure below to address this issue further.

1. If door latched:

A. Disconnect power from unit.
B. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
C. Replace door switch.
D. Re-apply power.
E. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.

2. If door not latched:

A. Disconnect power from unit.
B. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.

My new wireless mic wont connect to my wired controller

Hi, i think ur number 1 is configured for wireless functionality. So it will not work when the wire is connected. Try configuring the mic to work when the wire is connected as well. There should be a setting for it in the mic software. It should work after that

Works for approx 30 secs then it cuts off with a error Code F7 message.

Assuming yours is a model KHMS2050SSS0, here is what the technical sheet says about the F7 error code:

1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
2. After 40 seconds, check to see whether this solves the problem.
3. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
4. Check cooling fan operation
5. Check the magnetron.
6. Check P65 connection on the relay control board.
7. Check the P56/P66 connection between relay board and relay control board.
8. Check wiring to the 1200W inverter and control system. See “Checking Inverters.”
9. Check operation of all interlock switches.
10. Replace all parts and panels before operating.
11. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power.
12. Check voltage at 4903-1 on relay board. If it is 120, unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
13. Replace inverter.
14. Replace all parts and panels before operating.
15. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power.
16. If problem persists, unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
17. Replace relay control board.
18. Replace all parts and panels before operating.
19. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power.
20. If problem persists, unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
21. Check for reversed plug connection on controls or loose wiring.
22. Replace all parts and panels before operating.
23. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power.

(This troubleshooting guide presumes one does not know how to test electronic components. That's why they say to replace and part and check it again.)

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

If yours is a different model number, please reply back.

We have an older AT&T spirit phone system, sometimes line 1 will not work, I disconnect line 1 from the phone system box and plug back in, I then get a dial tone but the line will not disconnect, this...

There is most likely a problem with your control unit and the CO line 1 will not disconnect. However, to absolutely eliminate all other possibilities, try swapping phone lines 1 & 2 and see if the problem stays at line 1 (which will now be a different phone number) or if the problem moves to line 2 which would indicate a problem with the wiring to the control unit.

Hopefully you do not use all the phone lines in your system and you can move them all down one slot. (line 1 becomes line 2, line 2 becomes line 3 etc...) and just stop using line 1. Otherwise you will need to find a replacement control unit.

RAID 0 Array disappeared after reboot

I would try the hard drive on another sata controller/port to verify that the bad drive is in fact bad. If it is really bad, then no there is nothing you can do but replace the drive and recreate the array (losing all data!).

You can not 'recover' a failed RAID-0 array because there is no parity or mirror data on an extra disk like there is with the other RAID modes. This is why people recommend against using RAID-0 for important data (unless you take frequent backups): RAID-0 actually increases your likelihood of losing your data. Statistically speaking, you are multiply the failure rates of each individual drive together.
