Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
Working on a friends Inspiron E1505 and have gotten the internet to work on like the Yahoo Messenger and when I went through Windows Media Player to download an update for that the internet worked, but when I try to access the internet via IE or Firefox I just gets stuck on Waiting for examplehere.com. Anyone know a good fix? Uninstalling and having the drivers reinstall fixed the internet for the messenger and stuff but the browsers still not cooperationg. Need an answer ASAP as have to give it back tomorrow. Much appreciated,
Using Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card Driver for Wireless and Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller driver for Ethernet. Have tried both.
Open a command prompt and type the following command:
netsh winsock reset
This works wonders on mysterious networking problems like the one you describe here.
Hope this helps.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
