Question about SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro SDCZ62048A10 Hard Drive

1 Answer

I have copying and pasting files before on my usb flashdrive but now I can't. What I have done before is transfer the files on a folder on my desktop because I have to use my usb flashdrive for saving an important work in the school which needs a large space. When I returned the files and I will be saving new files, i can't save it and it tells that the directory of the file can't be created. Please help me. I have repeated the transfer and formatted the flashdrive but still saving new files didn't work not unless I save it a created folder before. Thank you very much! Gregg Tariao gregg0725@yahoo.com

How do I transfer files to my seagate free agent?

Just left-click the file or folder you want to copy, choose copy.

Open My Computer and find the external drive, double click, once the folder opens just right-click and choose Paste.

That's pretty much it....or you could also drag files / folders to the drive.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Turn your computer on. Plug the external drive. It should show in My computer window. Explore the external drive (by clicking on its icon in My computer). Point and select all you want to copy (CTRL A selects All) CTRL C. ( all that is selected will be marked for copying). Go to folder where you want to copy the files. Open the folder and CTRL V.

Hope it helps

Can't Copy Files onto USB Drive

I think you have to copy the pictures to your flashdrive and not copy and paste. this is how to do it: highlight the pictures you want to copy to your flashdrive and check on the left side of windows explorer, you will see some commands available like (delete, copy , move etc) select the copy command and a small windows will appear for you to choose the location to copy, select the flashdrive and then click on copy.
this will copy the selected pictures with ease.
