you wont see the pc screen on the tv if that is what your expecting, if the tv is capable of receiving netflix then it will pick that up seperately from the pc, it will only need a wireless connection to access the broadband, you will also need a valid subscription to the netflix service. The fact you have proved you have a valid wireless connection means its connected. There will be an options button to select the internet content to view on viera cast

VIERA Cast's assorted online content just keeps getting better - in
addition to the popular contents such as YouTube and Picasa Web Albums,
it now offers Pandora Internet Radio, movies streamed from Netflix*,
exciting sports from FOX Sports, tweeting web communications with
Twitter, and even home video and audio conferencing with Skype. It also
provides USB terminals for a keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor. No PC
required. Skype function requires an optional communication camera TY-CC10. Skype service will be available late June 2010. *Netflix unlimited membership required. Service on Viera Cast TV will be available summer 2010. *Keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor are not included.
1. If this is wireless I would try position the game box closer to the router or hard wire to the game box if possible. 2. You also may have a problem with bandwidth. The other computer is competing with your Xbox for bandwidth and the switch may not be able to supply it to both the device at the same time. 3. check if your router to see if you have QOS ( quality of service). Log into the router and check this feature to see if it is enabled.
This is beacuse there is NAT on the router for which you need to open certain TCP/UDP Ports on the router . but firtstly you need to Bridge the Verizon DSl Modem set up the internet connection as per same .
If you have an original Xbox the online capability is obsolete and will no longer be supported by Microsoft if you have an Xbox 360 you need to purchase an xbox live account either at a retail location or online through your xbox dashboard (internet and credit card required). You need to connect a network cable to the back of the xbox the other end to your router or modem to access Xbox live. They also sell a wireless network adaptor for the 360 that you can use instead of a wired connection.
Verify that you can connect to the internet without the router by hooking the cable from the dsl modem to your computers NIC.
If you can connect to the internet that way the problem is with the router. press and hold the reset button on the back of the router to reset it to the factory settings. (this just makes it easy to determine the problem) if this corrects the problem you can setup your security again
that happens alot when one or more device (for instance, the xbox 360 and a cpu) are trying to use the same ip address
make sure you have the xbox 360 and all other devices (cpu's/printers) that are connected to the router set to aquire ip address automatically
