Why do Netflix movies keep stopping?

It could possibly be a slow internet connection speed. Netflix posted requirements. This is a good site to check your speed. http://www.speedtest.net/ Internet Connection Speed Recommendations Below are the Internet download speed recommendations per stream for playing movies and TV shows through Netflix.
  • 0.5 Megabits per second - Required broadband connection speed
  • 1.5 Megabits per second - Recommended broadband connection speed
  • 3.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for SD quality
  • 5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality
  • 25 Megabits per second - Recommended for Ultra HD quality
HD Video Quality
Movies and TV shows we have available in high definition will play in 720p or better with a fast enough internet connection. To watch Netflix in HD, ensure you have a HD plan, then set your video quality setting to High in the Playback Settings for your account.
Netflix Bandwidth Usage
Higher quality video uses more bandwidth than lower-quality video. If your service provider applies a bandwidth or data cap to your Internet service, you canManage Bandwidth Usage by changing the video quality settings to Low or Medium to consume less data.

Every time i try to watch anything an error screen pops up saying "we are having trouble playing this title at this time please try again later or try a different title"

Most of the time. It actually not them having the trouble its the user. ( you). MOST of the time its because the connection between you and the server ( the thing that has the movie file on it ) is bad. Indicating either your internet service is bad. or your xbox doesn't have a good connection. Is there a download speed test on the Netflix application? if so run it and if you get at least 6 mbs and up then the connection is good. but any lower then its your internet that is the problem. let me know what happens

If you are having trouble connecting to the Internet or the Netflix service follow the instructions below:Test the Internet Connection on your Xbox 360

  1. From the Xbox 360 main menu, select Settings, then System, and Network Settings.
  2. Select Wired Network or Wireless Network depending on how you connect to the Internet.

Here are a few things to try:
- Remove all the devices plugged into the netgear and leave only the TV and Internet connection
- Swap the cable for the TV Internet connection
- Try a different port on the netgear
- Monitor the activity lights on the netgear

Are you still able to connect to netfix via a computer?

NAT settings on network for XBOX

On most routers you can't change the NAT settings, mine is strict and I can't change, so it's slow. Anyways, try looking at your internet settings, on the browser, if you're not sure what your internet settings IP is, then go to Network settings, right click on your network, look for the IP default gateway. Once you have that, copy it into your broswer's adress bar and it should bring up your settings page.

If it ask for a password, then just leave the name as administrator, and put password as the password. Once you're in, look for gaming I believe, not to sure, don't have a netgear router, but look for NAT settings, and choose open.

Hope this works!
