Re: problem in Ethernet port and usb
If you have an open Us2 port There is a PCI usb Expansion Cards you can plug in and it will work just fine But you might have to install driver for it. Here some websites will be helpfull to purchase or you can buy it from stables and Bestbuy. you can search in on ebay as Pci USB card they would be cheaper on ebay.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

first check for all the drivers in the device manager....
if every thing is perfect in driver side, then check if the ethernet/ lan is enabled....
then check is the light in the ethernet adapter is lit, when you plug any ethenet cable in it...
still if it is not working, then finally try to update the latest driver for the ethernet controller....
if nothing works, then buy an pci ethernet card and use it.....
you can also buy external cards like usb to ethernet converter...
even belkin manufactures usb to ethernet controller....
u can access net. there is absolutly no prbl with the "Intel motherboard which has a Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC card" . u need to install first the drivers of LAN from ur motherboard driver cd. thn restart ur pc. if it has again counter a problm thn u can use any download trial version of linux drivers.
