Question about HP PC Laptops

1 Answer

Having trouble with both internet explorer and Mozilla Foxfire browsers not working anymore. Any suggestions on how to fix this probem? Both browsers used to work until I tryed to download the AVast antivirus Program and was prompted to resart my computer. It tryed to resart but would not. I was prompted to do a system restore and when I did the browsers stopped working. I have run a Windows Network Diagnostic test and it tells me that there might be a problem with one or more Network Adaptors on my computer. Please help if you can.

Well the network adapters don't have anything to do with IE and FireFox. Those programs got corrupted for some reason. Best thing to do is go to microsoft website and download a fresh IE and then find firefox website and reload...

Good luck..pls rate.

Pc problem with internet

Hello,
Have you tried using a different web browser like GoogleChrome or Mozilla Firefox?
Internet Explorer is the default website browser and it usually messes up. I suggest you install either Mozilla or Chrome and check if your internet works.
Please let me know if it works or not so that I can provide you with more help if there\'s a need to.

Browsers take forever to load and sometimes won't load websites at all. They work fine in Safe mode however.

Which internet browser are you running. if you are using internet explorer, you may have to uninstall it and download a fresh and latest internet explorer fr microsoft.

moreso, download mozilla firefox, use googe search to seach latest version of mozilla and download. its free from google.

then scan your pc for spyware USE PC SCAN HERE.

Internet explorer not working

Go into the Control Panel and open the Internet Option. Click the Advanced Tab and go down and press Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

See if it works for them now.

If not, try another browser. Internet Explorer is the worst of them all. The others are faster and safer. I have all three on my system and very rarely use Internet Explorer.

Try downloading Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome.Unlike Internet Explorer they install in less than 5 minutes and they arefaster and safer than Internet Explorer.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download MozillaFirefox" (without the quotes). Download and Install Mozilla Firefoxfrom Mozilla's website. Do the same thing for Opera and Google Chrome.

I've put the links of each one below so if you like you can just click on themto go to their site to do the download and install.

It seem that internet explorer has gone corrupt on this computer,
Please follow these instructions.
1. Rest your internet explorer.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737
2. Restart your computer in the safe mode with networking.
how to restart the computer in the safe mode with networking: As soon as you restart the computer start hitting F8 and by using up and down arrow key on the keyboard, choose safe mode with networking and hit enter and hit enter again. Then you will reach to desktop.
Now, launch internet explorer and scan your computer with malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Now, restart the computer.
This would fix the problem.
Also download Mozilla firefox as an alternative browser in the safe mode itself. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

Trouble for several days logging into facebook

If your having trouble logging in, and its not saying you havent entered an invalid password..

Try resetting your internet explorer settings..

# Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer
# If you use Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run. Type the following command in the Open box, and then press ENTER:
inetcpl.cpl
# Click the Advanced tab.
# Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset. Then click Reset again.
# When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box.
# Start Internet Explorer again.

If this doesnt work, try downloading mozilla, and then installing it, and then running mozilla and access FB from there.

here is a link to download mozilla.

Try downloading Mozilla Firefox, a different browser and less susceptible to viruses than Internet Explorer. You can do this at www.mozilla.com/firefox.
