Question about Philips 32PFL5403D/27 32 in. LCD TV
I bought a PHilips 32" flat screen LCD at Christmas. I have a Sony DVD player, which works great, and on my old TV, which was a Magnavox about 15 years old, no problems. However, on the new TV, when I play a DVD, what is supposed to be the background "mood music" is louder than the dialogue to the point we can't even watch the movies. If you turn it up to hear the people talking, the music drowns them completely out. Is this a settings issue, or do I need to return it to the store? If it's a settings issue, please LMK what to change, b/c we're clueless.
In the Audio set up menu, see if there is a setting to turn off surround sound. I believe it's in your owners manual also. LMK
