In my case it’s a PC monitor. The volume icon keeps popping up in the middle of my screen at the most inconvenient times. Like now, as am typing this query. An VGA icon sometimes pops up in the upper left hand corner. When I push the menu button on the bottom of right hand side of the mentor the menu control icon sometimes comes on spinning thru the options like a slot machine. Can I fix this or is it time to buy a new monitor? Thanks, Joe In my case it’s a PC monitor. The volume icon keeps popping up in the middle of my screen at the most inconvenient times. VOLUME SHADOW COPY and sound functions have nothing in common other than both exist on a computer.
for volume icon, rt clk system tray expand button and select properties. Then turn volume on.
You might try this...you can set your side button on upper left corner edge of ipad to either mute volume or lock screen (stop it from rotating). Check how yours is set...Go into settings>general>Use side switch to:
see if it is set on mute. If it is switch it to Lock Rotation. Now that side switch will lock or unlock screen rotation.
See if that might stop your volume icon from popping up. Good luck!
Go to settings
scroll down to notifications
scroll down to voice mail
then turn it off
if that dont work go to setting
scroll down to app
then scroll down to notifications and turn it off
If the volume icon is just missing, try the following:
For Windows 7 1. Right click on the System Time at the notification area (bottom right hand side) and choose Properties. It will then give you a window for the System Icons, check Volume on the list and click ok and that should fix it.
For Windows Vista 1. Right click on the Taskbar, choose Properties 2. Go to the Notification Area Tab then check Volume then hit Ok.
If the above troubleshooting steps still won't work, try this guide.
