Paper Jam - HP G85 Ink Jet Printer

-   I was printing and several pages fed through. Something printed on a couple of sheets and about 8 pages stuck and I had a paper jam. I never had that problem before. I cleared the paper by pulling it through the front. I tried printing again. I get the message of open the door, clear the paper jam, and then press enter. I do, and same message appears again. It's clear from the front and back. I have turned it off and back on and try to use it againand it has a quiet noise for a bit and then makes some grinding noise and gives me the same error message.
