- I was printing and several pages fed through. Something printed on a couple of sheets and about 8 pages stuck and I had a paper jam. I never had that problem before. I cleared the paper by pulling it through the front. I tried printing again. I get the message of open the door, clear the paper jam, and then press enter. I do, and same message appears again. It's clear from the front and back. I have turned it off and back on and try to use it againand it has a quiet noise for a bit and then makes some grinding noise and gives me the same error message.- Guest

You open the door from the back of the printer (turn the knobs) and the paper can be removed from the back. After removing paper jam, replace the door. It is a long door as wide and the printer, but about 2 1/2" wide.
