it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area
FIRST TRY TO TURN THE BREAKER OFF FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES, IF THAT DOESNT WORK YOU WILL NEED TO PULL IT OUT AND REMOVE THE BACK PANEL ( UNPLUG IT BEFORE YOU WORK ON IT) THEN LOCATE THE DOOR LOCK MOTOR AND ROD, SOMETIMES THE ROD NEEDS ADJUSTING, SOMETIME THE MICRO SWITCH ON THE MOTOR GOES OUT,, YOU CAN GET IT ULOCKED AND STILL USE IT, BUT YOU WONT BE ABLE TO USE THE SELF CLEANE,, YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND OUT IF IT IS THE MICRO SWITCH OR THE MOTOR AND RELACE THE PART BEFORE YOU CAN USE THE SELF CLEAN
Hello there" The F 2 error that you are getting is telling you that the temperature sensor is going bad and needs to be replaced the temperature sensor is what senses the ovens temperature say you have it set for 350 when it is at 350 the sensor tells the oven to stop heating up and when it gets to a certain temp below that value it will make the oven heat up again it looks like this
There is a blower on the top of the oven, which turns on when the oven is hot enough. If the warm/hot air is coming out from top vent corners - this is the blower working. Even if you turn the oven off at that moment, the blower will still work until the oven cools down. This is normal.
if the heating element "rod" doesn't turn orange (hot) when it's on it's bad so; remove the heating element and get a new one from an appliance parts site on the web and install it don't forget to unplug the range first!
This code is usually an oven sensor that is telling the control that the oven is too hot, This is why the fan stays on. Try replacing oven sensor. This is the steel rod on inside oven in back wall at top left or right. Even though you can usually unscrew from front, it often won't come out far enough to unplug it from harness. If it does, be sure you get plug back through both walls of oven, or it will melt. Use end of small screwdriver stuck in the connector to guide through back wall. If doesn't come out you mist pull oven out if wall and access from rear.
could be a probe thats that brass looking rod you see when you open the oven f3 is oven probe code it controls the temp some of them you can take the two screws out on the in side and pull the probe out far enough to get to the connector to change some you have to pull the oven
