My tv was purchased at costco in 2006 ,which would take it out of warranty. But to my delight when i went to costco i noticed where they sell the tvs there was a sign that said that they give there members another 2 year extension on the warranty. They hooked me up to a service man and the tv is in for repair.stay tuned for an update.

Which model do you have because the blink code differs from model to model. Did you try a hard reset? Meaning, unplug the unit, wait a minute or two, then holding the power switch down, plug the unit back in while still holding the power switch down. When it comes back on, release the button.
Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry. If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.
turn the television off and then unplug it. while it is unplugged hold the power button for three to five minutes then plug it back in and try it. if that dosent work then contact lg tech support they should be able to find the problem
I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM ALL YOU DO IS HOLD THE MENU BUTTON UNPLUG THE TV AND PLUG IT BACK WHILE STILL HOLDING THE MENU BUTTON GO TO GENERAL SETTINGS AND TURN ON RESET MENU ON FROM THIER AUTO SEARCH YOUR CHANELS NOW U CAN HEAR THE TV BUT BLACK SCREEN NOW UNPLUG YOUR TV FOR A FEW MINUTES PLUG IT IN AND YOUR TV SHOULD BE BACK ON THIS IS THE 3RD TIME IT HAS HAPPEND TO ME IT WORKS
Often you have to press a particular button on the TV. The remote may not work until this is done. Sometimes these buttons are on the front or under the front.
OFTEN the orange flashing light can ALSO mean no video signal is being received. This COULD be the case if you killed the power to the TV and it has lost the channel settings so it is not receiving a signal form ANY source.
I just talked to a tech and fixed mine. unplug tv and hold power button for 1 minute. this drains the compasitors, sometimes they get over charged. if that doesn't work. with tv off hold down input button until tv turns on . it should work. here is tech support # 714-668-0588
First off, try a power drain:
Unplug the TV's power cable so it is not grounded to the house. Then press and hold the TV's own power button in for a minute. Plug the TV back in and see if it works. If it sill won't work, are there any visible LED lights you can see in the back of the TV? You need to determine if the TV's power supply is shot or the TV's mainboard. Service would likely be required if the TV still won't turn on.
the problem is it is locked in store mode. I had to call panasonic to fix it, this is what they had me do.
1 hold the volume down on the tv while holding the menu button on the controller.
2 after the screen changes to the check menu, hold the off switch on the tv untill it turns off.
3 unplug the tv for 30 sec.
4 plug it back in and turn on the set.
5 select home option
6 your done.
Did You Try Unplugging It For A Minute? If Yes Also Try Holding The Power Button For 30 Seconds To Try And Reset The T.v. Now If That Doesn't Work Unplug The T.v And Then Hold The On Off For 30 Seconds Again. Then Plug It In And Try It. Hope This Helps
