Question about Computers & Internet
Every time I log on my computer instead of getting my home page I get the Microsoft Internet Explorer page which requests you to upgrade to Explorer 7 or 8 . www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
I already have 7 and do not want 8 at this time. How can I eliminate this page. Microsoft has been no help at all!
Well I'd consider this kind of a browser hijack.
You can download it here:
I'm not sure how the new version is but the concept should be the same. Look for the www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
entry and then have the program remove it.
You usually have to restart the browser and / or the computer for the settings to take effect.
Let me know if you have any trouble.
Best of luck!
