Question about Computers & Internet
I have a toshiba laptop 32 bit with norton 360. My Aol has started to have problems. Originally, I had 9.1 and it worked perfectly. Within the last month ,when I sign on to aol, I no longer have a buddy list , the sign off and switch user tab is gone and my toolbar carousel also disappeared as well. Some of the items left on the toolbar are blank or dark when they are clicked and the drop-down windows are displayed.
Aol has moved on but didn't bother to tell you (that's okay they didn't tell me either). it appears 9.1 is no longer supported (i spent days trying to recover mails - they just disappeared one day last week). i finally found that they are now at 10.1 - download it and you should be good to go.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Click the link "hp: Modem Driver Installer for Microsoft Windows XP (32-bit)" listed in Resources if you run the Windows XP operating system on an HP computer; for Windows installed on a Toshiba computer, go to Step 3. For all other types of computers running Windows, go to Step 4.
Click "Download" from the HP website and click "Run" to install the high-definition audio (HDA) modem driver package. If the modem device does not work properly after the driver has been installed on your Windows XP computer, go to Step 9.
Click the link "Toshiba Audio Drivers" if you run Windows and use a Toshiba computer. Find your operating system, click the appropriate driver listed and then read the installation instructions on the screen to download the driver. If the modem device does not work properly after the driver has been installed, go to Step 9.
Click the "Start" button and click "Control Panel."
Click "System and Security" and click "Device Manager" under "System."
Click "System Devices" and right-click the "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio" device.
Click "Update Driver."
Update the "PCI" description drivers (PCI bus and PCI device) and any modem device that displays an exclamation point to the left of it. If the modem device does not work properly after the driver has been updated, go to the next step.
Visit the computer hardware or operating system manufacturer's website for further support
