Question about Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z700 Digital Camera
Camera was lost outside and has been under the cover of leaves, may have been rained on.camera turns on and sim card seems to be fine.just need to know if I should take it in and have it thoroghly checked?

This is a tough question, and the last time I tried to answer one just like this the person gave me an inappropriate rating (guess it wasn't the answer they wanted to hear)!
Anyway, if your camera is working, then I don't see spending the money to have it checked. Just take a soft cloth and wipe off the lens glass and the glass on the viewfinder. You should also take an air compressor if you have one, or maybe you can use a friends, anyway, put the nozzle up to the camera and run it around the space between the lens to clean out any dirt or yuk that may have gotten in there. That is your best bet to prevent the lens mechanism from locking up on you. Good luck. If you have any other questions, you can leave me a comment.
