Question about Epson Stylus C88 InkJet Photo Printer
This usually means the Waste Ink Pads in your printer are saturated with ink and the waste ink "protection" counter is nearing its limit. Once the limit is exceeded, your printer will no longer work. You can solve this by using the SSC utility - download from
and use it to reset the Protection Counter. However, remember that eventually ink will overflow from the waste ink area and make a dreadful mess, so you must change the waste ink pads before this happens. This requires the disassembly of the printer. If you decide to have a go at replacing the ink pads yourself in due course, I suggest you then post a new request for assistance.

Reseat your printer counter to zero. Its a third party utility program.
In web browser search bar key in " epson reset software", The uppermost link. There's already tutorial in it.
