Question about Sub-Zero 632 / S

Open Question

Need to move Sub Zero fridge Model 532 out from cabinet-framed opening. Don't have owner's manual readily available. What are the instructions on how to move it and how to slide it back in and level it. I see the drop-down wheels/rollers and leveller under the fridge but want to make sure my kitchen people do this correctly. Thanks

SOURCE: Sub zero 532 ice maker

When my repair tech came out, he showed me that the fill tube sometimes retracts toward the rear of the freezer. He simply pulled it forward with a pair of needle nose pliers until it rested in the delivery reservoir. This placement allows the detector to know when the tray is full and shut off; thus not overfilling the freezing tray and/or splashing additional water onto the freezer wall and into the ice cube drawer.

SOURCE: light switch does not work

1. Check to see if the bulb has blown.

2. Check the plunger switch is making contact. ( the light must be on when the
door is open meaning that the plunger is sticking outward. the light should go
off when you press the plunger in)

SOURCE: Removing Door Panels on Sub Zero 532

Hi, there is a metal strip that runs down the middle of each door the entire lenth. It is held on with two magnets. Once you pull that strip of metal off, you will see five screws that hold the door handle on. Remove thos five screws and the entire handle comes free. Slide out the panel and replace the handle, screws and metal strip ion reverse order. Take your time removing the magnetic metal strip as it is a very soft metal and could possibly bend or kink up on you.

Hope this helps. I'm having some trouble locating any company that makes stainless stell to match the appliances. All of the metal companies say the appliance manufaturers have a propriety type of lock on the appliance metal finishes. I also have the 532 model.

Good Luck

SOURCE: 532 sub zero evaporation tray is filling up with a

This is only normal in an environment of high humidity. My question is the condenser fan blowing over the condensate pan and is the air hot enough to evaporate the water that is in the pan? Has covers been removed on the rear of the refrigerator that may cause a different flow of air. Are all covers in there correct place and not missing panels that could change the flow of air over the pan? Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Subzero model 532 fridge not cooling well, freezer ok

Did u check condenser on the top behind the grill? If it's clean, check unit for evaporator freon leaking. Light....Possibly bad bulbs behind that plastic light cover or light switch - one of them located on upper portion of door frame.

NEED ORIGINAL DOORS ON MY 561 SUB ZERO LOOKS LIKE DOORS ON FRONT

Given the model serial number I could get your decorative panels. The door itself is a framed door and designed to take a 1/4" insert. You can have new panels made if you have changed the cabinets, order stainless steel panels or put another material of your choosing. If you would like the more about the panels reply with mod and ser number which is in the freezer door jamb at eye level. Open the door past 90 degrees and look in.

Sub-Zero 532 not cooling

Simple think I guess - just pull down a little a plastic fan blade on motor shift it will produce a powerful air flow. Fan blade should sit pretty close to the shift end. ;)
