NEC DV-5700A DVD Drive with WindowsXP

By kioner - usenet poster

Hi All,
I have a NEC DV-5700A DVD in my system. According to Microsofts
compatibility test, this drive or decoder may be incompatible. Can someone
tell me where to find new drivers? I tried NEC's site, no luck.

Thank you

Herbert

I have the exact same problem. I've looked everywhere - Dell told me to
contact MS. MS told me to contact Dell. I can't seem to find any
information on my DVD on the web. I'd even buy a new DVD if I knew which
one might be compatible with XP.
