Question about GE Profile 26.6 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser TFX27PRBWW

Drips water out of Ice maker spout

On the freezer outside door where you have a choice of Water, Crushed Ice, or Ice, water drips out of the spout where you would get water. Is there a valve that is leaking and can be replaced? I have chosen a model below but I am not sure this is the exact model that we have.

There is a valve that controls the flow of water at your door. Take the front console off and take it out. There will be wires attached to the console for your water/ice control so make sure you either tag or write down where these wires go. Then replace the valve you will clearly see that opens the water up. Take down your model and serial number down and go to your local appliance dealer so they can cross reference the part number OK? My freezer is not making ice and the water only drips out of the water side

There could be a couple dif problems. If the temp in the freezer is not below 6 degrees the thermistat in the ice maker will not call for water. The selinoid in the water inlet valve for the freezer may be bad. The ice maker itself may be bad.

To test the inlet valve switch the hoses and see if it calls for water when you call for water in the door. To do this you will need a 1/4 inch nut driver. Remove the panel in the back of the fridge on the outside. Push the connector inwards and pull the hose out. Most inlet valves you can do this with. Switch the hoses and push the water through the door button . If you cant do this you have 2 choices. Either call a technician to test the inlet valve or take a gamble and replace and hope this works.

If the inlet valve is good and the freezer temp is below 6 degrees replace the ice maker.

The water dispenser in my refrigerator ice maker is leaking

if you have recently changed your filter, had the water turned off, or disconnected from the ref this is a common problem. you have air in your water line. fill 5-6 large cups of water or until it stops spurting and your drip should go away

Model KSRS25FGWH01-water is dripping inside the freezer ice bin.

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

Outside ice despenser is dripping, no ice

water dispenser -Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Ice maker drips water into ice tray

Probably the solenoid valve leaks(electric valve that opens when the ice maker calls for water) and overflood the ice maker, the only way to fix this is replacing the solenoid.

Ice maker drips water

In most of theses cases the dripping is caused by the molding in the ice maker cracking and the water is wicked out. On some ice makers you can replace the complete molding but its usually easier to just replace the ice maker.
