Question about Intel PENTIUM-4 865GV CHIP MOTHER BOARD (MBP4I65GV) Motherboard
Check the audio cables and power cable for the speaker if you are using one. Check the audio cable is plugged on the green audio outlet on the pc. if everything looks fine then go to Control panel and sound settings Make sure the main sound level is up. Right click on the my computer icon and left click on the properties and device manager and make sure the sound card driver is not removed and it does not have any yellow warning sign on the side of it. if there is you need to install the driver again. if the driver is not showing under the sound and video game controllers highligt my computer from that screen and click on Action tab and scan for scan for harware changes. ( PERFORM THE FOLLOWING IF YOUR SOUND CARD IS NOT ON BOARD OR USING PCI SOUND CARD EXPANSION) If the computer or the computer area resently cleaned and pc is moved while the Audio cable is plugged in and pulled. You need to open the Pc and make sure the Sound card is pushed in all the way in to the socket. I listed all the possible fixes i hope one of these could fix your problem.
