It was not mentioned last maintenance job taken on printer. however following are the causes for blank print.
1- The cart. may refilled and not aligned properly (may be toner cart or drum unit, if dual component)
2- bad contact points of the carts. and that of printer base.(may be contaminated or dirty)
3- faulty HVPS?SMPS
4- Harness if any check all high voltage contact points. including transfer roller.
Xerox guarantees their supplies to be free from defects as long as their is a life percentage left and will replace it for free.
Take it back to the store you purchased it from and ask for a replacement, or have them request a replacement for you.
If the magenta fails (within 100 pages) after you replace the Image Unit, then your toner dispense mechanism is failing for the magenta toner, and either a dispense motor will need replaced, or the toner auger will need to be unclogged or replaced.
That problem is frequently on HP 2600 series.
You must try to change all remanufactured toner cartridges with HP OEM with no exception, the best alignment it is when you change the black cartridge and the printer make a cleaning page process. Cartridge HP OEM should be almoust empty. It Is not necesarry to be a new one. After the alignment process, you can put the remanufacturated cartridges back on.
This was work for me. 100%
Fuzzy print is mostly related to 3 items in your printer. 1 the toner cart. 2 fuser. 3 transfer roller. A fuser replacement is a normal fix for this problem. Check your PM kit status by printing a supplies status page. A PM kit will have a fuser, transfer roller and feed rollers. If the PM level is low ,order and replace kit. If not you may want to get a new fuser
Check the toner cart and the drum is it old/new is the toner cart properly installed. Is the LASER glass clean it should be protect by a cover ensure machine is off when checking and cleaning the LASER **** glass. Also check if you can print out a machine developed document such toner/pages printed document to see if this problem is related to the scanner or the drum/toner/LASER, if these document print out clan then the problem is with the scanner
Easiest step to do would be replace your toner.
Next Step is 1/2 self test page. This means start a print job and
after the paper is picked up open the toner cartridge door and cause a
jam. The paper that you see after you remove the toner will show the
current print. If the mark is seen on the paper there then it is the
toner cart. If you dont see it on the paper then it is most likely
your fuser causing the issue.
Take the new cart. out and reinstall the old cart. Does the noise disappear? I would tap and shake the toner cart. BUT BE CAREFULL, the cart is ready to spill toner. On the box and in the instructions it tells you, or should, that you must shake and tap the outside of the cart. This is due to settling and the toner maybe packed. By tapping and shaking it will feel the toner. If the toner is packed it will put undue pressure on the augers inside the toner cart. and cause a grinding noise. If after tapping and shaking, reinstall the new cart. and check. If everything is ok -- great. If the noise remains contact the company your purchased the cart. from and ask for a replacement. These cart. are mass produced and mostly reused ( refurbed). Parts wear now and they do not replace the inside parts, they just repack with toner and seal.
