There is a definate possibility if you reset the phone it will relock itself. Also, do not update the phone through Itunes.

How do i unlock my iphone 6?

Give it to the FBI. They just got into one thanks to John McAfee!

The only way you can do it is to clear everything off it with a Factory Reset.

Connect it to your computer with iTunes. Back it up, do the Factory reset. I would suggest that you do not set a passcode if you can't remember a memorable 4 number passcode.

Phone purchased from an estate sale. locked. how to get it to unlock ?

You can't unlock a locked iPhone as it is a security device. As I have said many times, if it was easy to defeat a locked phone, there would be no point in having a lock.

Go to a computer and load iTunes. Connect the phone to the computer and do a Factory Reset. The interface is not particularly intuitive, but you will see the phone listed with a number of choices and options. You will see reset. You won't be able t back up what is on the phone because you don't have the Apple ID. You _may_ be able to drag and drop the music on it to another folder.

Your phone will finish as new from Factory. Set up using the wizard including setting up a iTunes account and an Apple ID.

iPhone 4S is a good start, but you will soon want the 6 or 6S and you will find the 4S slow. Ask someone with a 6 to show you the difference in speed. I had the 4S and ordered the 6 as soon as I saw one working :>)

Unlocked I forget my passcode

Well, if you forgot the screen lock password for your iPhone, you will have to reset the iPhone to factory settings and then set up a new password. But the factory settings of iPhone will lead to the data loss in your iPhone, as iPhone doesn't save contacts in the SIM card, so you may lose contacts and other data when resetting iPhone. So before doing that, you will need to back up your iPhone data to computer.

iTunes won't be helpful on this issue. When your iPhone is locked, iTunes can't recognize the device. So you will need third party software to help. If you want to backup the contacts, messages and so on, I suggest you use iOS Data Recovery.

Unlock apple ipod

Contact your current cell-phone provider.
For a fee, they can "unlock" your iPhone,
so that the next time that you connect it to iTunes on your computer, iTunes will "unlock" your iPhone.

If you have a "locked" iPod, connect it to iTunes, and do a "factory reset" on it.

Iphone 4s locked forgot itunes password phone disabled

To unlock one must do a factory reset on the phone. This will erase all data on the phone so use at ones owns discretion. You may be able to take it to an apple store and have it fixed for a price also.

How to unlock iphone 4 passcode lock from at&t?

Apple can help you to reset your login, when you enter the correct password that belongs to your Apple ID. It will be partially on the screen. If you really messed up, setting up security, and lost unlock code and your Apple ID password. Only Apple can help. For that you have to take iPhone, invoice and prove of your identity (Passport) to the Apple store and hope they will unlock your iPhone. With iOS7 Apple made a very good security system. And while setting up the iPhone and the security, you are warned several times what to do to make sure you and only you could enter the system. Whatever you is told there is no bypass for the Apple security system.Be aware if Apple does reset your iPad, all data now on the iPad will be lost.

How to master reset my Apple Iphone A1221?

Ok, I'm using my iphone 4 running 7.1.0 as my guide on this one, so I must not be using all the correct headings, but this should be close. Go to "settings->general->reset->Erase all content and settings". That should erase all personal data, contacts, songs, photos, etc... And reset all of the settings to factory default. If you think you may want to reverse this, or if you're planning on upgrading to a newer generation of iPhone and want to transfer your data then be sure you sync your phone with iTunes before doing this. Let me know if that does not work, there is another way to do it but it will require you to update to the latests version of iOS that your device can run, which will erase your jailbreak if you've installed one (not to be confused with re-lock your phone, if you paid to get your phone factory unlocked, and that does not mean a sim interposer, your phone should remain unlocked, no matter if you update iOS).
