Question about Epson Stylus C88 InkJet Photo Printer
Sounds as if the nozzles are blocked, If the Epson cleaning tool does not get results. the only cure is to manualy remove the dried up ink. Since some disassembly is probably needed and the nozzles are easily damaged, it is a method of last resort. Current prices suggest that it would be better to replace it with a T20 printer.
Prevention, always power off using the printers on off button, as this ensures that the printer heads are parked properly. This prevents drying out, the cause of your problem. It also helps to use the printer every month or so, Not a monster session once or twice a year, Ink jets hate this.
