Hd not working

that doesn't sound good... that means that the partition on the hard drive (the structure containing all your files and the Windows OS) has been wiped out- either intentionally by a user, or due to the hardware failing.
I would suggest three things:
  1. see if you can connect the drive to an external HD enclosure/tool and/or connect it directly to another computer. see if you can recover the data off of it.
  2. If you don't have an enclosure, a secondary computer, or don't have the technical know-how to connect it- I would reccommend taking the machine to either a computer repair store, or a techy friend, to have them do it for you. (warning: in the case of a computer repair shop- make sure you trust them, and ALWAYS get a quote first from them. some stores tend to rip off their customers by replacing parts that don't need to be replaced, or adding extra *upgrade* charges.)
  3. After 1 and 2 are completed, attempt to insert your Windows disk and begin the long process of reformatting/re-installing everything. If the re-install fails, see about getting a replacement hard drive, as it could be toast.
Cheers,
- Vern

It means the driver for your Sound is not correct. You need to reinstall the driver again. Do you know the manufacturer of your SoundCard/Motherboard?

Pnp drivers not found for Windows Vista!!!

Hi, you might need to partition & format the drive. Its pretty easy. Just get into control panel (classic view), open administrator tools, and computer management. in the computer management window, there will be a "tree view" on the left, you should see disk management. Once you are in the "disk management" section, you should see your external drive there, and can partition/format it by right clicking on it. Most external drives should come preformatted, and if it doesnt appear in the disk management section it may need some sort of driver disk or oem software.
