When you hooked this up did you hook to the t.v directly? the dish receiver directly? or do you have surround sound system and hook through it. If you have a menu button on your tv then hit it, scroll to channel listings, once there you will be prompted to start selecting channels scroll down the channels to where it says video then select, that might work or least it does for me anyways. what type of tv do you have that could help me also. good luck let me know if i can help in any way

mine is hooked directly to my tv via s-cable then the procedure above applies and i believe your tv is the same as mine. i have dishnetwork and on my remote it does allow for accesories but i just programmed my remote to operate the various items. you might call your dish provider and ask them if they have a website or some help you can get from them. sorry i couldnt help more then this. the only other thing there might be to help with is how do you have it hooked up? you can use rca cable ( red white yellow color coded cables) and plug them in the back of the dish receiver then turn off your dish receiver and the feed from the dvd player will go through the dish receiver. not sure if that will help or not. good luck and thank you for your support.

My imput button on my tv remote for my Disney princess tv doesn't work. How do I switch the imput to watch Dvds if the imput button doesn't work?

If the input button on your remote is malfunctioning you can still change the input from the TV. There is a white panel on the bottom front of the TV with 4 buttons. The button on the far left side of that white panel is the input button. Press that to toggle to your inputs.

Onkyo HT-S6100 to OPPO Dv 980H to Sony Bravia KDL 40W4100

Make sure none of the Digital or Component Input Assignments are programmed, if you're not using them. Set them to "----". This may help. Some of the Component input assignments may over-ride your other input assignments (perhaps even the HDMI input assignments).

Conia 250 dvd player

You may have switched to progressive mode.

If you have your DVD player hooked up to your TV with anything other than composite video (single, yellow RCA cable), for example via component or HDMI, than disconnect that cable and use composite.

This may help, but only if that's really what you did, and if the DVD still sends the interlaced signal out over composite (which doesn't handle progressive).

TV plays color, dvd black and white

If I understand your post/description, the DVD plays OK except it is in Black & White. If so, change setting from PAL to NTSC or vice versa depending on the region you are in. US operates on NTSC, Most of Europe is PAL.

Hope that this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
