Try taking the battery out, putting it back in and turning it on. Then about halfway through the load bar pull the battery out again. Do this twice, then leave the battery out for a couple days. If this doesn't work try navigating to SETTINGS in your phone and there should be an option to RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT. Just remember to save all your contacts somehow.
You can try to let it dry out in the sun for a day or so. Take off the cover, battery, sim card, etc. so water does not stay trapped. Try again in a couple of days. If it still doesn't work, it's not going to.
your battery is probably bad. take out the battery and plug it up and try to turn it on without the battery in. if it works just replace the battery. if not then your phone is fried.
take the battery and sim card out, let this thing dry out for a while...several days.. if you can disassemble it, you ma be able to dry it out with a compressed air spray can. if not, at least take the battery and sim out. You can also purchase a container of silica granules at a craft store (they use it to dry flowers) and put the unit in a large bag with the container of siica to absorb out the moisture. These are long shots, but its worth a try if you can save buying a new one.Good luck on this. k
it's probably going to be really expensive to repair it if there is major damage. but i got in the pool with my matrix in my pocket and i dried it out and it wont turn on with the battery in it(it's bad i know) but if i take it out and plug it up it works fine but i cannot call, or text. it wont connect to a network. i dont know whether or not i should invest in a battery which isn't that pricey at all or just get a new phone. i'm just not sure if a new battery will fix the problem.
honestly within the past two days I have gotten my matrix soaked...once in the shower and then my boyfriend threw it in the toilet when we were playing around. the first time I used aerosoft keyboard cleaner and sat in on the vents on top of my tv. The second time I wasn't at home so I filled a bag up with rice and silica bags and then turned it on the next day and it's working fine...I just get this random beep every now and then. And I can see moisture in the corner of the screen. My phone has been through hell. Just do what you think is best and go for it. Not in the freezer though...BIG NO NO
