To reset the calculator you open the battery slot at the back and remove battery for two minutes.

This will reset the calculator to factory settings.

Rounded to the nearest tenth it would be 3952.6

The number you have already is to the hundredth.

That is 12.1, 12.1 again, and 12.3. The tenth part is the first decimal place.

You need more information to round to the nearest tenth, you need the hundredths column.

For example, if the number was 6.54, we look at the number beside the tenth column, the hundredths column. If it is 4 or less, we round down and don't add one to the tenths column and the result is 6.5.

However, if the number was 6.55, the number beside the tenths column is 5 or greater, we add 1 to the tenths column and get 6.6.

Good luck.

5.5 is already the nearest tenth. The nearest tenth is rounded from the second decimal such as 5.52 - the nearest tenth is 5.5.

(hundreds) (tens) (ones) DECIMAL POINT (Tenths) (hundredths)

So you have six and 28 hundredths. If nearest tenth is 2 the number after it is an 8, therefore the 8 is rounded UP to 10 and the 2 becomes a three.
