When i turn my tv on it makes a loud hissing or buzzing sound that last about 5 mins, then gos away .Also the screen has green lines that run from top to bottom and u you can not turn the tv off with the remote or manually you have to unplug it. can oyu help?

this sounds like the problem most LCD tv's get with swelled up
capacitors in the power supply board. look for circular cylinder shaped
parts rapped in plastic with writting on the sides, and metal tops, if
the top is rounded over, not flat, it is bad. replace them.
This is a problem with the switching transformer or the ballast used to fire the backlight. You will have to replace the ballast and or the switching transformer soon. In order to replace these items, I would suggest taking it to a qualified TV technician for servicing.
