Question about Acer TravelMate 2500 Notebook
1-4-1-1 Is a RAM error. You don't need to sell the laptop. Check your RAM slot (usually pretty easy to access from the bottom of the laptop). If all of the RAM chips are correctly inserted, there's a good chance that you have the wrong kind of RAM inserted. Check the owner's guide to determine what kind of RAM your laptop supports.
If the RAM chips are inserted snugly and you haven't modified the RAM chips in any way, call ACER support. They will have you send the laptop in and they will determine the problem. It could be a bad motherboard, but most likely it's just a bad RAM chip.
