Can you use the LCD screen to review photos by pressing the play button on the left?

If you can then getting the image to be viewed after it is takencan be fixed by a simple setting.

I have an XTi so yours should be almost identical:

Press the "Menu" button.
Press the button on the right side of the circle to move to the playback menu (looks like a play button)
Press down to "review time"
Press the "set" button (in the center of the circle)
choose an amount of time or hold (too keep it on the screen until you take the next picture) if you wish.
Press the "set" button
Press the "menu" button to exit the menu and that should fixya.

The screen is black when im trying to photograph something.

Hi,
If camera shows previously stored picture in playback mode but does not show live view then its ccd imager chip failure problem and ccd imager chip will be replaced.
Canon offers free of cost ccd imager replacement for A75 model, click Canon CCD Imager Advisory for details.
Thanks.

THE CAMERA DONT TRANSMIT THE IMAGE ON THE SCREEN

Hey TECBELL,
I am assuming you mean the image you have just taken does not show up on the LCD screen after you take the photograph. If this is the case then the problem is the auto review function is turned off as described on page 47 of your camera manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual in case you need it. I hope this helps!

Nikon d80 LCD screen

Hello cherdh,

To disable those blinking spots, just press the up or down cursor keys at the back of the camera while in playback mode. You will get three different views. One shows the EXIF data (Image data) as an over lay on your photograph. Press the button again to go to histogram mode, with graphs. Press it again to go to a mode where some image data is on the bottom of the display with no blinkies on the image.

Those blinking black spots are called highlights in a photograph. They indicate the areas where your photograph is over-exposed, i.e. where there is too much light and the colours are washed out. It can be a good tool to get a good exposure. Keep clicking with different settings till you get an exposure without those blinking spots.

I hope this helps.
