Question about Belkin (F5D5231-4) Router
My client has a belkin wireless g router and I'm trying to connect to
his pc via pcanywhere. The pcanywhere tech's told me to open
the router ports 5631 tcp and 5632 udp
I will be going to my client in 2 hours, I'm trying to find out how to
make the settings on the hard-wired pc in his office
thank you for any assistance
You need to access the router via a web browser. Standard addresses are 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
If neither work, you need to go to start>run> type in "cmd" then OK. Once you get command prompt up, type in ipconfig (Then enter). The Default gateway is the address to your routers configuration page.
Once you get in go to/find virtual servers and and the ports in there. for the ip set it to your computers local ip, you can find it in run>cmd >ipconfig thing i told you earlier. It would be under IP Address
