I have an Acer Aspire 5732Z, 8 months old, bought new. When I go on the internet I get a lot of flashing and flickering on the screen and it's really starting to annoy me. Is this a common problem and...

You have been infected with spyware and/or adware - the flashing you see are popups that appear and are being blocked by your browser.
Install and run another antivirus and from now on stop using Internet Explorer - use another browser, like Firefox or Opera.

My acer aspire one is able to boot, I'm able to log in, but from here on the only thing that actually loads is the time. You can move the mouse, but you can't access any menus, clicking does nothing, and...

How long have you waited? Is it loading just REALLY slow? This could be spyware, adware or a virus.. possibly a new piece of software you installed? If you rebooted and repeatidly press the F8 key it should allow you to enter safe mode to resolve any issues with spyware/adware (spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html)

Acer aspire one powers off after 30 seconds

First, Scan your PC with a good Anti-Virus like "Kaspersky Internet security 2010" or "A-squared Anti-malware".Both can detect malware, adware, spyware, virus, trojan etc.make sure you update those softwares.

LINK : Kaspersky Internet security 2010

LINK : A-squared Anti-malware

If the porblem is due to virus or malware infection;then those softwares with lastest updates will solve that problem.

Secondly,if the problem still persists, open your Notebook and get it clean with an Air blower near the Processor area.Overheating is the main caused of such problem.

let me know ehich one comes perfect to you.

Hi! i have a acer aspire one, everytime i switch my laptop on it pops up with a privacy center and i cant get rid of it?

Privacy Center, or PrivacyCenter, is a rogue anti-spyware program designed to trick users into purchasing its full rogue version. Privacy Center looks similar to Privacy Components. Privacy Center may infect your computer through a Trojan, spam emails or it may have come bundled with another malicious program. Privacy Center sells itself as an effective spyware remover tool, however, all it does is make you believe you're infected with numerous spyware threats to offer its "licensed" program.

Go to the link below and download and run MalwareBytes Anti-Malware program. When it installs it will ask to update and run, please do both. Once it updates, run the program and perfrom a QUICK scan only. When it is through scanning it will ask you to click on the show results button. When you do that it will show you the infections it has found, make sure they are all selected and delete them. You should be malware free now.

Acer Orbicam Not Working

You've been spam by such spyware on your system, like worms, trojan or virus. Last night I fix like what problem you have, even I reinstall the Acer Orbicam and nothing all in connected and still use by another application. This trouble is in order to remove such malicious script or viruses. Use Spyware Doctor to remove on it. Good luck!

Weird addressbar flipping

The Yahoo Software comes with Spyware & Adware; never seen AT&T Yahoo Antivirus detect any virus in my experience. Unfortunately you have to install the software to setup your DSL for the first time; after that it's worthless. I would scan your computer with Microsoft Windows Defender or Ad-Aware by Lavasoft; both are free tools and find many of the common infections. Moreover, it wouldn't hurt to pay for a McAfee or a Nortin Subscription for virus protection; I use McAfee because it doesn't lag my system. There is a free virus protection program called AVG Free which I'm told works good for the price.
