Hi,
We have two Windows 2003 Dell PowerEdge servers. One is the DC and runs
Exchange and Trend AV, the other runs as file server, SQL server - both run
Veritas Backup Exec v9.1. All service packs and updates for all software
have been installed.
The problem is that each server hangs at least once a week, forcing a
restart by cutting and restoring power. There are no event logs at all -
the server simply becomes un-responsive.
Is anyone else having a simlar problem? How can I track down the cause of
the problem? As the only software that is common to both servers is the OS
itself and Veritas, I suspect the problem lies with one or other.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Mark
