I recently got a rave 150 from a guy , the battery was dead on it so he used a jump start battery on it and now it won't start by the switch. it will start if I jump across the starter relay . I changed out the relay and that wasn't it so I checked to see if there was power to the switch and found there was none. can you tell me where to get a wireing diagram for it so I can trace the short ? where would ;you look to start with. any ideas would be appreciated

Unlikely. Squeaking is usually caused by dirt - go out and give it a good thrash, including some really hard braking...

From the way you have described it, I would say that you've got a bad electrical connection in either the ignition switch, the kill switch, or in one (or more) of the plugs that connect the various ignition components to the wire harness.
Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner (available at RadioShack) in the kill switch and in the ignition switch contacts (if accessible). Also check all of the wire harness electrical connectors for corrosion - especially if your ATV has been (as most are) operated in wet conditions. Unplug each one, clean any corrosion from the connectors, and re-connect. Carefully tighten loose connectors with pliers before re-connecting. Do the same thing where the harness ground attaches to the vehicle chassis.

If you google the make/model/size,you should be able to find forums where people who have already bought/own this particular one, give their opinions/reviews/ and ratings and problems they have had with it.You definitely have the right idea to research it before you buy.I do it also for just about anything I buy and the forums are everywhere for just about anything.Good luck! most common issue: clogged carb needs cleaning (routine service especially if left sitting for any extended amount of time)

Drain the carb if you haven't already, be sure the gas valve is on and the plug wire is attached, check for a kill switch in the wrong position, then give the air intake a shot of spray starter fluid. Hopefully that will get you going again.
