Model No. is WM14225FD in answer to MNTECH question.

Fixer 444, it has been turned off for about 1 hour and I have just checked all wires and all seem fine and tight. I have read numerous reasons as to what the issue 'could be' - it may because there was not a big enough load put in but from comments I have read and investigated it could be the 'motor servo control' or in my LG manual it states LE = over load in motor and when I called LG who were useless they said it could be the hall sensor? LG have been really unhelpful and want to charge me £70 call out charge......this has been going on now for over 5 weeks. HELP

I'm sorry I only have service info on US market models, but this info might help.

LE codes are extensively covered in past Fix-Ya solutions, but are generally caused by only a handful of things. 1. the " Load Error " can be a very off balanced load. 2. excessive use of soap leads to too much suds, and thus drag on the inner tub. (use 1 tablespoon of HE soap max. per load) or 3. the Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty. Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble. Usually takes under a half hour. On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, it might rate a 4. This should be a Fix-Ya for your machine, and at basically no cost!

I tried what I'd seen written elsewhere - my LE error came after I turned the drum as I was unloading it, which caused the control panel to light up. This confused the brain.

I unplugged it for 10 minutes, then started a Rinse & Spin cycle with No Spin selected for the Spin Speed. After this completed, I was able to use the washer as normal.

Press "end of cycle". Plug off the wall. Code can be an indication of several issues. The most common cause is over-sudsing in the machine. Overloading the wash with too much laundry may also cause the LE error code. Lastly, a breakdown in the signal between the microprocessor and the motor may cause that error code. This can occur if there is a loose wire, see that all wires are tightened..........

LG Washing Machine WM2032HW displays LE error code & makes a grinding (best i can think to describe) noise during the wash cycle. Starts right after filling.

LE error also referred to sensor assembly- HALL switch and/or stator assembly. Replace the assembly by removing the back cover, removing the rotor with one bolt. You have to hold the rotor from turning while loosening the bolt, slide the rotor off of the spline shaft, take off 6 or was it 8, bolts holding the stator, unplug the two wire plugs, and, now, out of machine, unclip the hall sensor and replace.
Reinstall opposite way.
Here is the stator to order.
Here is the sensor to order.

Washer starts then after few minutes stops and beeps with LE flashing. What does this mean?

LE = Load Error. If you do not have an unusually heavy or unbalanced load, replace the HALL sensor on the motor. Remove back access panel, remove bolt from center of motor. Remove rotor. Remove bolts holding motor coils to machine. Unplug wires. Un-clip sensor, replace with new sensor, and re-assemble. This is a rather easy repair.

Or maybe your Hall sensor died the part number is 6501KW2001A

My LG washer is flashing LE and won't contiue the

First try unplugging the machine for a few minutes and then retry a cycle. If you still get the LE error:

The Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in the US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. My LG washing machine will not run through washing cycle

Locked motor error (LE)

* The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of stator assembly
* The electrical contact between the connectores, (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness and 4-pin, female, white connector in the main PWB assembly is bad or unstable. Or the motor harness between the sator assembly and main PWB assembly is cut (open circuit).
* The hall sensor is out of order/defective.

***. If the hall sensor is defective, replace the entire motor.

Problem with LG washing machine Model number wm1480fhd. The machine drum reluctantly turns and in about a few minutes it displays error code LE (flashing).

LE error code: This indicates a locked motor condition. Please check the following conditions. Large loads of laundry can put a strain on the motor causing the LE error code. Try removing some clothing and restart. Excessive suds can cause the LE error code. Make sure the customer is using an HE (High Efficiency) detergent. They should decrease the amount of detergent until the machine washes without suds. A few bubbles can be expected. Areas that have soft water will usually need to use less detergent. If you suspect that excessive suds are the problem, let the machine stand for 30 min (motor cool down) and then run a rinse and spin cycle before restarting the load. If these directions are followed and the code persists, the machine will likely need service. .
