My HEM-711ACN has been giving readings so high (200+/100+) that I rushed to the ER of the nearest hospital. The BP readings at the hospital were considerably lower. Subsequent comparisons between my 711 and
other devices continue to show my device to be reading much too high.
Could type of batteries make a difference? Am using both regular alkaline and rechargable Ni-MH. Thanks.
Sensors seems incorrect and causing invalid / wrong reading of BP.
I would recommend to have at least 2 BP operates at same time for BP test to validate reading.
As long as the batterys are exactly what the unit needs then its good. I suspec the sensor is not working properly, I think these units have a longer warranty, have you tried contacting your dealer or omron for a replacement?
