Question about GPX D1816 DVD Player
It is a GPX Model D1816 player less that one year old and used about a dozen times altogether. There is power to the unit and the door opens and closes, and the disc sounds like it is turning inside. However, when the power is turned on, the DVD screen does not appear on the TV and there is no video or audio output to the TV. I know the connections are correct because it was playing perfectly prior to this. The TV has input connections on both the rear and front of the TV and I have tried both sets of connections without success.
Best bet/least effort is to get a newer, slightly more robust DVD player. This unit sells for less than $30. It costs more to ship it over from China than it does to manufacture the player. No kidding! For an ultra-cheap DVD player I'd go with a ~$35 player from wally world. Best of luck.
