    I am 99% sure that the print mech. rollers are the same as deskjet 9xx series. it turned out that the client had a tack in the adf which was the feed problem, feed rollers in adf were worn and I replaced them. I cleaned the printer feed rollers and it seems to work fine now. thanks for the advice.

If you can get to the feed rollers, take a Scotch Brite cleaning pad(green, used to scrub dishes) and put rubber restorer on it and hold on tight and try to feed a sheet. The rollers will spin no the pad, both roughing up the surface and cleaning the rubber. Other wise throw it away and buy a new printer.

    I have never tried to replace rollers on any ink jet. In the past it was cheeper to buy a new printer, but with the comming of the MFP's that will probly change.

I am printing postcards which get stuck in the printer during the last 2 inches of printing. What can I do to fix this? The printer is HP officejet 6110 all-in-one.

How stiff is the card stock? Some cards cannot feed if the printer rolls the card to print on it. (This one does)
I have taped cards to a full size sheet of paper and run that through.
Usually this means the paper is too stiff.
You can try cleaning the paper feedroller with a rag with a bit of windex on it. (This roller is above the paper tray where the paper loads in.)

Constant "paper jam" on HP 6110; then wrong size paper;

there are some broken parts on your printer it could be at the lower back portion of the carriage which holds or take control of the mechanical parts not to feed paper when initializing or it could be its counter part that is broken that could be found on the right side of the printer almost on top of the small gear of the output paper roller.

The paper won't advance enough to print in our HP officejet 7580

Look for little pieces of paper that get stuck in the rollers, also verify that the gears and roller didn't get misaligned when you cleared the jam.
Good Luck,

Officejet 6110 all in one - printing problem with Mac Os X 10.5

I suspect this is not the printer problem. The problem may be the operating system issue. (Memory management)

I was able to get my 6110 to scan by downloading HP_Installer_PSC7100_v9.7beta.dmg .  I saw this on XLR8YourMac for another HP multi-function and on a lark I decided to try it.  During the installer it won't detect the 6110, but you are able to "Skip" to the next step until it's installed.  Then, launch "HP All-in-One Device Chooser" and you will see the 6110 listed.  After I choose it there, I was able to use "HP Scan Pro" with the 6110.  I've not really tested the rest of the applications.

Most likely worn pads & rollers, I'm afraid. Kits are available though. Not too dear.
