I have got a renualt clio extreme 1.2 16v 2005 year. When i got it few week later it started to give me problem which was the drivers side window. When i drve the window use 2 go down it self without me holding the switch, after abit it goes up it self. I took it to the garage and they keep on sayin it fine we dnt no wat the probblem is. I got a feeling it got be the relay which im not 100per cent sure on, WAT DO U THINK DO IT BE!!!

When it is the relay either it does not work, or get stuck half of the way, working erratically.
I do not think the relay can cause the window to go down automatically by itself.

It looks more like a contact either on the window wiring , or on the window switch, the wirings must be tested, starting from switch side, and ending on window side behind the panel.
At some point there must be a contact that with car vibration triggers the window motor.

Hello i have a 1998 (s reg) renualt clio grand

how did the oil cap fall off and not get lost? check that the cap doesnt fall off again. if you didnt drive with an engine empty of oil, then everything will be fine.

try my last solution posted, connectors on renault clios renouned for corroded electrical connection car guaranteed to start unless car needs replacement loom these also prone to fail very bad design of wiring connections they did a better job in the 70s

misfire could happen if you have a leak in the intake or exhause valve , or if your engine running rich thats mean too much fuel coming to the engine . you should check oxygen sensor

you dont need a diagram to change a switch!!
simply remove switch panel from door rest using a torex headed screw driver unclip switch and replace with new or second hand 2 mins work!!
