This error seems to come from MSN 9 Beta.

I would suggest uninstalling it and installing 8.1

do your friends have the same program installed on there PC's/ If not and they are using a different instant messanger they will not get your messeges. Invite them to join and if there do your problem is solved. When did this problem start, and were you able to get your messages to them before? and if so what messanger were you using at the time

Hello There,

Try the new Windows Live 2009, and have to do a clean up for your old LWM 9 beta, and others, this is done when you go on SAVE MODE and programs files, and look for Messenger, delete that folder, after uninstalling WLM 9 beta, and others. ok,
then install the new LWM 2009, and if you have mcafe see the fix for cam, and other issues. but it work well, if you do the right steps.
keep in mind that you have to let windows messenger pass on the firewall too.

I have Windows Live myself. It works exactly like Yahoo messenger. You have to send out invites to see the people online that you know and they will see that you are online as well. That is all there is to it. Please respond back with more details if this is confusing you or you can not get it to work for you. It's so easy it's too easy. Some times people do not think of the easiest part of things. I am an Audio Engineer and was trained on how to start with the simplest issue there is and work my way up to the problem at hand. Engineering is all about the way one thinks and goes about proble solving.
I Think You'll Get It!!!!

I can't find out how to send an instant message

Oh, its simple. In a nutshell you need to download and install yahoo messenger. Once you've done that, you need to include the person you want to send a instant message to as one of your contacts or friends. You do that by getting their email address and putting it in your contact, buddy or friend list. Once you have it there you will click on it and send them a instant message. Now I think the first time you send them one they will have to approve you as someone they want to receive messages from by accepting or rejecting your IM. Oh, and they on the other end would need your email address included in their contact, friend or buddy list.

How to Send a Message From a Computer to a BlackBerry?

A BlackBerry is like the holy grail of communication devices. There are certainly multiple ways of receiving messages on a BlackBerry device---via text message, BlackBerry Instant message, or even with AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Probably the most convenient way to send a message from a computer to a BlackBerry handheld device is to send it via email.
Instructions
  1. Get the BlackBerry email address of the intended recipient. The recipient may use an alternate email account from which their messages are forwarded to their BlackBerry device.
  2. Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Entourage) on your computer or log on to your web-based email account.
  3. Compose a message. Mail it to the intended recipient at the email address that they use on their BlackBerry.

MSN instant messenger

you may have added them with your new address, but unless they do the same for your new email you will not see them. I have never heard of an instant messaging program asking you to change email, what service is it?

How can I chat using Yahoo Mail?

Chat with Somebody in Yahoo! Mail To exchange instant messages with any Yahoo! Instant Messenger or Windows Live Messenger user in Yahoo! Mail:
  • Make sure you are singed in to chat.
    • If Offline appears after your user name right next to the Yahoo! Mail icon at the top, click Offline and choose Available, Busy or Invisible from the menu.
  • Press c (think chat).
    • You can also select Chat from the Compose drop-down menu — click the down arrow first.
  • Type the desired user's Yahoo! Messenger ID in the To: field.
  • Hit Enter.
  • Type away.
You can also start a chat by looking for an online contact first:
  • Click Online next to Contacts in the Yahoo! Mail folder list.
  • Now click on the desired contact's name or user name.
  • Start typing.
If you start composing an email in Yahoo! Mail and the prospective email recipient appears under Online, Chat now! in the To: field's auto-complete list, select the entry to convert your email to an instant message.
