Question about Computers & Internet
Sound drivers working properly but there is no sound device installed or sound devices are not installed properly. Sound and audio devices properties-volume tab-no audio device-device volumes and speaker settings are grayed out. Recently I have moved some folders from disc C to dics D. Could this be the problem? Dont know what to do? I have tried to install new drivers but nothing...

This board seems to have an issue after installing 4gb of ram after swapping out 1gb of transcend ram and installing 2x 2gb kingston the audio device disappears, swap the ram back and the problem goes away, to further complicate things it seems that kingston and transcend ram doesn't play nice together in this board having one of each results in no post and a ram related beep code as of yet I have not been able to produce the bios settings to allow the two sticks to play nice together maybe somebody else can help out on this one!
So either lose a stick of ram or install a sound card and have your system become considerably unstable
