Question about Dakota 2786-6 Wristwatch
Additional thin layer of metal needs removed. how? thought i would research before i ruin the watch
That additional layer actually is the +contact. Take an eyeglass and follow-up all the way to that contact into the movement till you find the small plastic hook (hooks) it is clamped on. Get the fine pointed tweezers and undo the contact by pulling the contact end outwards from the hook. The contact should release the baterry. Memorise the writings on the baterry and buy exactly the same one.
