Did you check that compatible driver for your audio device is installed Properly? Go to Device Manager and verify. if there is yellow marked device error with name of Audio/Sound you need to update this driver.

Download and install/update this driver, reboot your system and check audio output. Hope this will work for you.
You should check to see if your system BIOS is up to date. You can also access your sound device by (right-click) MY COMPUTER then click HARDWARE then DEVICE MANAGER. Double-click the sound device then driver. After this select "roll back driver" and restart the system.
