Can you uncover the hole on the lock section by moving or sliding the lock upwards - using something like a toothpick - be gentle and slide it upwards very slowly.

Memory card unlocker

Micro SD (secure data) cards store information such as Word, image and video files.
Kingston microSD cards are used in many settings, such as schools, businesses and government offices, to protect data.
Some Kingston microSD cards are locked for added protection.
In the locked position, you cannot add or delete data from a microSD card.
You will need to unlock your Kingston microSD card in order to save data on it or delete data from it.

Remove the Kingston microSD card from whatever device it is kept in, whether it's a storage case, a digital camera or a GPS.
Find the small plastic switch on your Kingston microSD card.
If you are looking at the microSD card with the arrow pointing away from you, the switch will be on the right side of the card.

Flip the switch on the card to the unlocked position.
This will enable you to store and remove files on your Kingston microSD card.

When I put sd card in notebook and try to format I can't because is write protected. How to resolve this? Thanks! One more thing, I move write protect on it.

Look on or around the edge or back of the card and see if there is a lock/unlock tab...it is very small, but should be there. just switch it to unlock and it should work.

Hope this helps.

I have nokia 7210supernova and i got my kingston 2gb micro sd memory card locked and i don`t know any password so how to crack micro sd memory card password

There should be a switch on the side of the memory card, which says 'LOCK' on one end, and 'UNLOCK' on the other end. Switch it to UNLOCK. If this fails, contact first your network provider(Orange, Voadfone...). If they cannot help, you need to contact Nokia. If this fails, contact Kingston. This will help.

My 1gb micro-sd card is locked

G'Day vishy

Most micro sd cards from sandisk have a lock switch on the side of the card. First thing to do is check that it is not in "lock". If lock is not selected, then the card itself may be faulty.
