R7080 is mounted parallel with Transistor Q7060 (base-emitter) supplying +20 volts to STKs
R7086 is mounted parallel with Transistor Q7061 (base-emitter) supplying -20 volts to STKs

    Both are fuse-able resistors.

set multimeter on resistor check (ohm set) or continuity and put both leads of meter to both ends of resistors, please note that one pin of resistor should be out of circuit for correct measurement.
multimeter should show approx 0 ohm reading for correct resistor.

    Hi again,
Please rate solution as 4 blue diamonds because I provided you complete info.

I did not said to Cut a leg or pin of resistor. Just use solder iron and unsold one pin of resistor and take it out from board. This will isolate resistor from circuit and DVM will give you correct reading about resistor.
In-Circuit component test required much technical experience.
    Thanks for rating solution.

every resistor mounted on PCB has its won value and R7980 & R7086 are 0.27 Ohms (near to zero)

I found the location of the fuses...but no numbers on them...where would i go to purchase something like this for the PANASONIC TH-42PX60U

The Amp rating is usually stamped on the board very close to the fuses. If they are white in color then they are called ceramic fuses, but still have an amp rating. If they are Pico fuses they also have ratings that are close to their location on the board. DO NOT go above the amp size it calls for. If the new one blows then you have a related short to that particular rail. Have it serviced.

I Have a mitsubishi WS-65857 and after doing the diagnostic i get teh 2,2 that some of the gurus have mentioned it is to resolve. I was wondering if you can tell me how to resolve this? Thank you very...

Check the two green pico fuses F9A04 and F9A05 on the "Center Board" if either of those two fuses are blown then convergence ICs are the reason its shutting down with a 22 error code. The pico fuses look just like resistors but dont have color bands and they will be bright green.

I need to identify the parameters (rating) of a resistor for a Panasonic PT53WX53G projector big screen tv. It got hot so I can not see the color codes on it. This resistor glows red when TV is turned...

The resistor you see is a 2.2 ohm 2 watt resistor and is part of the convergence circuitry. I would replace R7011. 7012, 7013, 7014, 7015 & 7016 (all the same value) and the 2 STK392-110 Convergence ICs. This should fix your problem. You can find kits on-line for around $45 with the IC's and resistors together.

Mitsuibishi WS65809

The only items on your set that should need replacement would be both convergence IC IC801 and IC802 which are both STK392-570 and you will also need to change the two 5 Amp pico fuses which are F9A04 and F9A05 they are both % amp pico fuses. All parts are located on the center Board

Pico fuse

It's on the T-con board itself at location Cp1 which you will find printed on the board itself.. The fuse is a tiny s/m (surface mount fuse but you can use a pico fuse of same value. According to schematics it's a 1.5a fuse. Simply solder one across the s/m fuse and if it opens then change the board. Samsung p/n# Bn81-01286a
To test the fuse use a VU meter set to continuity.
Pico fuses are readily available at almost any electronics supply outlet. I get mine from ACME Sales in Florida (least expensive) but even your local Radio Shack might sell them...

KP-57WS500

If you look at the Convergence ICs you will notice a row of resistors under the fins of the heat sink. Those are the 4.7 ohm resistors. Also in that same row of resistors you will notice the 6 yellow picos they are all lined up the picos have 4 grouped together then 1 more on each end of that row or resistors.
