Coffee perks luke warm

I have had my coffee maker for about one year. Unfortunately, we don't have a receipt or manual any longer.
The coffee just began to perk luke warm. Could it just be it needs cleaning or is it a heating element?

Your heating element is toast! If you want to risk taking it apart, there is a fuse inside that can be replaced and if the fuse is still in working order, (test it using a meter), the heating element is dying.
There is nothing else to do, but buy a new coffee maker.

Lights blinking

A longer description will help people debug your problem. I had the problem that the lights on my essenza machine would blink fast and not stop blinking. Pressing the button would pour out luke warm water without any consideration for the fill level of the cup. Turns out that machine was in Descaling mode. See section 7 of the manual. To get out back to normal mode, hold down both the buttons for 3 secs.

I have a Bunn coffee maker with date code of 401406. It is almost 4 years old and still brews perfectly. The warming plate does not heat up any longer so the coffee will not stay warm after it is brewed....

The manual for this coffee maker can be found at this link:

While the manual does not contain repair instructions, it does have some troubleshooting tips to follow if your coffee is not staying hot.

Hi,
After perking the coffee the pot is to switch to a thermostat to keep the coffee warm...that thermostat is probably bad...
Not sure if it is replaceable on those pots...

The first problem we noticed is the coffee is not as hot as it used to be, but it was still strong enough. Now the unit perks for about 10 min for a full pot, the light comes on....but the coffe is weak...

Hi, The problem is the keep warm element. The reason, your pot perc's and it gets hot near the thermo, the thermo turns off the main element. The keep warm element is not on so after a small amount of time the water cools and the thermo turns the main element back on again, thus making the water hot. The K W element is supposed to be on all the time the pot is plugged in, it is instrumental in perking the first brew making it really hot, the thermo turns off the main element and the K W element keeps the water hot. The K M element is very a easy fix. Thanks and please ask if you need more help. Ron For the part go to repairshack.com

COFFEE IS VERY WEAK,LUKE WARM,

HI. If the urn perked, it is not the main heating element, that leaves the keep warm element the problem. This element should be on all the time the pot is pluged in, you can get it at callahanronald@att.net for 8.00 and 2.00 S/H.Or go to ron622c on eBay Good luck. Ron

Coffee perks but is only luke warm when finished

The K M element is very a easy fix, it is the small looking white rope that runs around the bottom of the pot. You have 1-nut and 1- screw to remove. When removing the screw from the main element you must hold the (leg) that the K M element is screwed to so it does not bend and brake off. Take your time and be firm with the pressure you apply to the screw, while holding it with a pliers. Contact me callahanronald@att.net Good luck Ron

if you still have the receipt, you can get it repair or replace under the warranty, unless the warranty is for 90 days. in that case you are toast.
time for a new one.
replacing the parts is half the price of a new one.
