Greetings, I experienced the same problem. Mine only ran a few stitches. Foot pressure on the foot feed was always "tension" problem in my foot.

I turned the foot feed around and upside down.
I press on the foot feed at the open end not the pivot (cord) end. This has given me much better control. Janome had no options for foot feed adjustment or replacement, but this has helped greatly. You may have to practice to get used to it

How do I adjust the presser foot pressure on my Janome 7100QDC

your model doesn't have this feature Janome 7100QDC Computerized Sewing Machine , it it did, there would be a knob on the top left of the machine above the presser foot which you could screw up or down to increase or decrease the pressure. Its not a feature on many machines, the presser foot bar has a big spring internally which applies the pressure and this will just adjust to suit the fabric under the foot.

The grease inside the foot controller is gone or dried up. Open it, clean it, and apply a little bit of new grease, Vaseline is fine. I shouldn't have to tell you to unplug it from the wall first.. should I?

You may have inadvertently dropped your feed dogs. Look on the back side of the throat just in line with stitch plate. There should be a slide there. You can see it by turning the machine around as well. As you face the front and reach around to move the slide, to the right is up and to the left is down. Check that first. Next make sure you have sufficient pressure on the presser foot.

Bobbin jamming immediately on my my 5124. Can't

Recheck the bobbin to be sure the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the correct direction and through the proper guides.

Re-thread the machine with the presser foot up.

Make sure the needle in inserted with the flat side to the back of the sewing machine.
